Home.

Finally. I have completed my kombi to caravelle conversion. I know that the purists amongst us will not like but I thought it would be good to show what can be done with time money and patience lots of. Started life as a t5. 1 T30 140ps Highline kombi.

Brand new from the factory. Factory sunroof, folding mirrors, heated front seats swivels, cab carpet, originally 17" thunder alloys, towbar.

I have now fitted a sport line roof spoiler and front sportline lower spoiler, lowered sport line suspension. Sportline side bars, Full t6 caravelle executive interior. Kenwood dab525 head unit with rear camera. New caravelle roof lining and led upgrade on lights including the boot area and under the front passenger seats which also house additional 12v sockets. The TV is a 24"dvd/tv fitted on a bracket attached to the original seat belt fixing. The bolt had to be fabricated specially for this.

California awning rails are fitted to both sides this is for the awning that I'm currently designing and fabricated brackets to mare up with the genuine vw brackets.

Upgraded the rear with genuine Vw rear speakers. Finally got a set of 18" Canberra alloys.

I've now fitted the flexiboard at the rear with a california beach mattress. The last itms I've fitted was the second battery again using genuine parts to make it look factory the wiring for this goes to the bcm which had to be coded to do the voltage sensing.

The tailgate has been treated to a california set up with black out blind and the two seats which live in the tailgate.

Spent almost 15k on the conversion. Now looking forward to driving her around Europe again once the lockdown has been lifted.
